Parco dei Principi Hotel Sorrento
The contemporary Parco Dei Principi was constructed in 1961 around an 18th century villa belonging to Prince Leopold of Sicily. The villa has since become an integral part of the hotel and is used to host receptions and music festivals. The Parco Dei Principi is situated on a cliff directly above the sea. The hotel's private beach is sheltered by the pier and a private boat harbour. Both are accessible either by lift or through a descent in an ancient cave. It is surrounded by an extraordinary 27,000 square mile exotic park.
The decor of the new building, both in the public areas and in the 173 modern bedrooms, has taken its colour theme from the blue waters of the Bay of Naples.
