The ten mixed units of the resort all enjoy the widespread use of terracotta flooring, lime and earthen paintwork, natural woodwork, bedding in cotton, latex and coconut, linseed oil and natural wax, untreated cottons and linens, screened electrical wiring, paper sheathing and non-woven fabrics, pressed cork with no glues - and not least, all-natural products for cleansing the body, the linens and the surroundings. The dishes served at the Convento di Agghielli are intimately linked to the immediate area and its products - a cuisine made up from research into forgotten flavours and fragrances, the rediscovery of ancient recipes which date back to the times of the Romans and the Etruscans.
